NJ CONSERVATORY PRESENTS
'BEETHOVEN FESTIVAL'
On Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 4:00PM, the NJ Conservatory Symphonic Chorus, Orchestra and Chamber Choir will present a 'Beethoven Festival' at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 246 Woodport Rd., Sparta, NJ. On the program is Beethoven's 'Mass in C major' featuring Symphonic Chorus and Orchestra, 'Symphony #3 in E flat major' ('Eroica'), featuring orchestra, and Beethoven's "Meerestille und Gluckliche Fahrt ('Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage' - text by Goethe) featuring Chamber Choir and Orchestra. NJ CONSERVATORY HOSTS TRICKY TRAY!
NJ Conservatory hosts benefit tricky tray. Mark your calendar and join us Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Parish Hall, 215 Hill St., Boonton, NJ. Doors open at 6:30PM. Evening includes regular and super trays, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, door prizes - fun for all. $12 admission includes a sheet of tickets. Light refreshments available for purchase. NJ CONSERVATORY SPARTA YOUTH CHORUSES
SPRING CONCERT
NJ Conservatory's newest Youth Division, Sparta Youth Choruses, Junior (Gr. 1-3), Intermediate (Gr. 4-8), beginning rehearsals in October, 2011, will present their first spring concert Sunday evening, May 15, 2011 at 7:00PM at Sparta United Methodist Church, 71 Sparta Ave., Sparta, NJ. They will be joined by the Advanced Youth Chorus (Gr. 7-11), specially auditioned from Sparta and Rockaway Youth Divisions. The Conservatory's adult Chamber Choir will make a special appearance. A CHORAL 'TOUR DE FORCE'
On Sunday, May 21, 2011 at 8:00PM, NJ Conservatory in association with United Methodist Church of the Rockaways, 1 Hoagland Ave., Rockaway, NJ will present A Choral 'Tour de Force' featuring the adult Chamber Choir and Advanced Youth Chorus accompanied by string orchestra. Featured will be Handel's 'Dixit Dominus' (chamber choir and orchestra) and Puccini's 'Mass for Three Voices' (youth chorus and orchestra). Join us for this beautiful and unusual program. SPRING CONCERT
NJ Conservatory Rockaway Youth Division Choruses, Junior (Gr. 1-3), Intermediate (Gr. 4-8) will present a spring concert Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 7:00PM at United Methodist Church of the Rockaways, 1 Hoagland Ave., Rockaway, NJ. These wonderful young voices will sing classical choral music and folk tunes from around the world. They will be joined by the Advanced Youth Chorus, specially auditioned from Sparta and Rockaway Youth Divisions. The Conservatory's adult Chamber Choir will make a special appearance.
